Testicular cancer could be easily treated if people talked about it a bit more, if we got rid of the taboo, increased awareness, provided more information, and if support was provided to the men who do have it. We cover all those elements.

Awareness

Our awareness program helps us save lives and reduce suffering. Considering the fact that this cancer affects young men and touches on a somewhat embarrassing subject, the goal is to break down the taboos surrounding the disease. We reach millions every year with your help and donations.

2019 results

  • We have put online a new “merch” online store. Everything one needs to show support, right here.

  • Around 20 events and 3rd party fundraisers all over Canada. Total attendees of more than 10.000.

  • Website visits : 30.000 visitors

  • PSA - awareness videos: 40.000 vues

  • Social Media : Over 20.000 vues

  • We keep building content for the website: testimonials, medical content, videos…

  • We’ve had 3 radio interviews, 2 tv spots and many articles in the press.

2020 projects

  • An international awareness campaign with an international agency: Forsman & Bodenfors. This is 2020 - taboos need to be broken. It is time to raise global awareness. We hold a major campaign every 2 years, and this year we hope to reach more than a million people with our PSAs. We are very excited about this.

  • We want to design new “merch” to help with 3rd party fundraising and to help the cause shine at our events.

Education

Along with our awareness tools, we are the most complete and verified source of information on testicular cancer in Canada—and probably the world. Our medical advisory board develops tools to make information accessible and useful.

2019 results

  • Schools presence: we have given out more that 15.000 pamphlets in Canadian schools this year.

  • We hold meetings every year with medical experts so they can get up to date with the best practices.

  • Our Awareness material is now downloadable online.

2020 projects

  • An online Excellence Centre Referral Program which will be sending guys to the best hospitals near them. We will send them to the right places with tools so they are empowered to get the most from their interactions with their doctors.

Support

The support we offer men with testicular cancer, as well as their families, helps reduce their own distress associated with cancer. We have an army of volunteers ready to help you get through this ordeal.

2019 results

  • One on one help: more than 50 guys were helped by volunteers in the pas year.

2020 projects

  • An electronic “prescription” program: This is a first! We will create a prescription to send men to the right online tools which will guide them to the resources they need. Every situation is different, and this agile tool will send them where they need to be.
